CHEMFAB PTFE coated fabrics are a great solution for drying processes with strong requirements in terms of cleanliness and food contact compliance. CHEMFAB materials are made with Kevlar or glass fabrics and then coated with PTFE (Teflon™), and are used to offer excellent non-stick properties in a severe, humid and high temperature environment while also requiring food compliant materials. PTFE coated fabrics avoid sticking for a variety of dried products and due to the closed surface also migration of any materials, therefore the risk of any cross-contamination is minimized. Based on the inert nature of PTFE, the belts are also easy to clean, which makes quick product changes possible. CHEMFAB PTFE coated fabrics are a great solution for vacuum drying and freeze drying or lyophilization applications.

CHEMFAB PTFE (Teflon™) belting materials are used as conveyor belts to position products to a heated surface while preventing any adhesion of the polyethylene film on the surface. The belts are long lasting but offer quick and easy replacement which allows for production continuity.
