    CHEMFAB® Release Solutions for Aircraft Composites Moulding

    CHEMFAB® PTFE coated fabrics are used in various aerospace composite manufacturing processes. Our high performance and temperature resistant PTFE based solutions are successfully used in hand lay-up, open molded or vacuum bagging applications.

    They can be applied directly to the mold, allowing for a clean and easy release after the composite curing process has been completed. The porous grade of CHEMFAB products provide excellent release and are used as breather fabrics, allowing for air and volatiles to escape.  Our coated fabrics also work as peel ply, being draped over mold as the epoxy sets up.

    Our reusable CHEMFAB long lasting and consistent release products for aerospace molding processes gives you a significant cost advantage by minimizing downtime and unplanned maintenance whilst improving production cycles. Furthermore, the easy clean PTFE surface eliminates the use of waxes and cleaning agents sometimes required during the process, while the easy release leaves a smooth final finished surface thereby removing the need for further processing.
